Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp. vegetable or olive oil
  • 1 lb. chicken or steak, sliced
  • 1 medium onion, sliced
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 2/3 cup water
  • 1 packet of Mateo’s Medium Ancho Chile Taco Seasoning
  • Guacamole, as desired
  • Sour cream, as desired
  • Tortillas of choice

Directions

  1. Heat oil in sauté pan over medium-high heat. Add meat and cook until no longer pink.
  2. Add onion and bell pepper; cook until slightly softened.
  3. Stir in Mateo’s Taco Seasoning and water. Cook 2 to 3 minutes more or until sauce has thickened.
  4. Serve fajitas with guacamole, sour cream, and tortillas as desired.
